“The creation of a single world comes from a huge number of fragments and chaos.”
Sabrinna Ashley Bautista (commonly misspelled with a single "n") was born in Los Angeles, CA, and supported by her gregarious Salvadoran family.
Sabrinna surrounded herself with various cartoons growing up. She was introduced to art and drawing by her mother and cousins, who bought her books of famous art around the globe and encouraged her to practice sketches with them. Now that she is older, she turned to art and animation, breathing life into her own characters, beasts, and creatures with her own mind, creating worlds beyond the physical realm.
Sabrinna was quite a colorful child, but soon enough declined to a monochrome take into her art. When frequent critiques were made about the lack of color in her art, Sabrinna decided to shock her audience with blinding colors and hues that will spark headaches. Large eyes are common in Sabrinna's art after being born into the worlds of Tim Burton, Lauren Faust, Jhonen Vasquez, and various anime, but she found the bigger the eyes are, the more soul the character or piece is given. And since the eyes are the windows to the soul, the eyes will always need to be big enough for people to look into.
Sabrinna's art is very experimental; she often creates art based on topics such as nihilism, femininity, and occultism, among chaotic or psychedelic environments with disproportionate humans and horror monsters. She tends to emphasize moral ambiguity and blur the lines between good and evil.
Sabrinna is currently studying animation in hopes of becoming a character designer.
